All my domains and subdomains are running on a soon-to-be(jan 1st '26) twenty years old server.
Servers are such incredible piece of craftmanship and innovation, they should be treated as concrete elements, nearly as beings, with the upmost care and attention. How do you think this over-consuming, dollar chugging, energy bill anihilator has been kept running for so long ? By care and time.
Last time it was down it was because of a literal, physical bug which decided to die right on top of the network-interface's chipset, intermitently shorting things and causing a crash every few network requests. Diagnosing this was interesting.
